MyEyes is a small application that draws on the menubar a pair of eyes constantly following the cursor movement.
Yes, I've already seen the Eyeballs INIT (I loved it!) and I must admit that it's a very old idea, but when I started working on color machines those poor, black & white peepers seemed to me a little dull. So, guess what! I added color and lived happy.
In fact MyEyes differs from Eyeballs in many other ways. For example, the eyes position is not relative to the menubar length: you can move the eyes using the click-and-drag technique and decide their horizontal position (this works only when MyEyes is the frontmost application). For better results, I suggest to place the eyes to the left of the help menu icon.
MyEyes is an application, not an INIT, so you have to place it (or an alias to it) on the Startup Items folder to have it automatically launched every time your Macintosh is started. Use the âInstall MyEyes..â command under the âFileâ menu and let MyEyes do the job for you.
